Term 3, week 10
I can't believe its the last week of term 3 already!
This week in literacy we are learning about...
* Grammar - Nouns and articles e.g. 'A' and 'An'.
* Writing - Reports, making sure we include a heading and at least three subheadings.
This week in numeracy we are learning about...
* Calculators - we are exploring using calculators.
* We all still need to be practicing counting backwards from 100, counting by 2's, 5's, 10's and 11's.
This week in integrated we are learning about...
* Transport in the future.

In literacy this week, we learning about...
* The letter Ss, we are practising to form this letter correctly (anticlockwise).
* The blends 'ot', we are brainstorming words we know and new words that has this blend in them e.g. cot, tot etc...
* Grammar - we are learning about homophones - words that sound the same but have different meanings e.g. to, too, there, their etc...
In numeracy this week, we are learning about...
* Volume/Mass/Capacity, we are using informal units such as counters to find out about mass and capacity/volume.
In integrated this week, we are learning about...
* Submarines
